OMG New Kids On The Block -- Summertime!

I've heard 'Summertime' a few times by now on radio, pardon me for my lag.. cos I was kinda not in tuned with radio fm, the usual kancil my mom used to send me to work takda radio & I hardly drive now! First time I heard 'Summertime' by New Kids On the Block on radio... at uptown, I was like *speechless*... my fingers holding my jaws... and since my mom was seated beside, I gotta behave.. and I can't scream with voice.. so I just screamed ala-Ally Mcbeal.

And amazingly, I could STILL scream over New Kids On the Block! This morning, on my way driving to temple, I was rushing *as usual* but suddenly lite fm put on NKOTB! And the song?! da da da da dum.... I'll Be Loving You Forever..... and I am still this crazy old me. Then I just sang along... you know the whole lyrics of the song?! Yes.. I can sing ALL NKOTB songs... come to think of it... hey why not dedicate this song to sayang! Hahaha. I used to think I'm singing the song for Joey Mcintyre, doh.

Yeah
I'm not that kind of guy who can take a broken heart,
So don't ever leave, I don't want to see us part.
The very thought of losing you means,
That everything...Would go down under.

[ Chorus: ]
I'll be loving you forever
Just as long as you want me to be
I'll be loving you forever
All this love's for you and me, yeah
(I'll be loving you)
I'll be
(I'll be loving you)
Loving you
(The things you do)
Yeah, it's forever
(I'll be loving you)
I'll be
(I'll be loving you)
Loving you, yeah

I count the blessings that keep our love new
There's one for me And a million for you.
There's just so much that I want to say
But when I look at you
All my thoughts get in the way

[ Chorus ]

We've come to far, to ever turn back now,
This love will last forever...
I can see it all now!

Somebody please hit me! Wake up wake up! If only there's internet when I was 12 or if there's youtube when I was 15... First thing first... youtube got so much crap inside there, just one search and oh my ggoddddd. As crazy ridiculous as I may sound, I wished that the 'Summertime' video was not so provocative with near naked lengluis seducing the 5 guys... really cheesy sleezy mem-per-wuliow-kan a nice tune / song. Ok ok.. actually the lyric also wuliow... but I actually liked the song minus the sluttiness of it!

Here you go... see if you have any idea what I'm zoning myself into, before there was Backstreet Boys or Take That -- New Kids On the Block ruled my life. I'm still hoping and wishing that one day, I'll be able to meet them... all 5 of them, and I will keep my composure... cannot be like the siow cha-boh who simply couldn't breath or cry infront of them and couldn't even utter a word!

OH ya... another thing... my all time favourite NKOTB member > Joey Mcintyre! When I first heard 'Summertime', I thought the 1st verse is Joe! Woww! *ahem* Well JordanK is always singing the lead but Joey gets to lead other songs too! The youngest... the cutest... the voice... the capricon (im virgo), the I-would-faint-if-I-see-him... Joey Mcintyre!

NKOTB Reunion!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!! *hyperventilating* Is this true? Is it true?! AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! You might not this, but I was... no I AM proudly a New Kids on the Block die-hard fan! I still have not met them real life in person *garrrrhhhh* the closest I got to meeting Joey Mcintyre was when he was supposed to come to Malaysia to promote 'Stay the Same' and I won the "meet Joey Mcintyre" press conf pass through Hitz.fm and my ex-housemate was also so excited for me (think I was freshman in UPM).... but in the end his tour to Malaysia was cancelled abruptly on the last minute!! But he was in Spore!! And my icq buddy Stew (a guy who doesn't know much abt Joey Mac) actually went to see him!!! Urrrgghhhhh... And that also because I was soooo hyped up abt his visit to S.E.A that Stew went to see Joey Mcintyre in the flesh!!! Oh boy... Stew said "he has so intensed eyes" ...you said it right.

2008 Reunion
On April 3, 2008, Donnie Wahlberg told CNN that the band had reunited, and were recording an album of new material, and was planning to tour.[5] The producer RedOne previewed several tracks for a Boston Globe interviewer later that month; some of the song titles on the new album include "Click Click Click" featuring Nasri (who is the producer, along with Hakim AbdulSamad and Adam Messinger, of the original and the NKOTB rendition), "Close to You", "Looking Like Danger", "Big Boy/Big Girl" featuring Lady GaGa, and "Summertime".[6] They're also working on a song for the new album called "Full Service" which will feature New Edition. [1] Some other song titles "Two in The Morning", "Single" and "Dirty Dancing". [1]

"Summertime" (2008)
In May 2008, the group released "Summertime", as a downloadable single on various online digital music services. They also posted the tune on their MySpace page. The new album, according to Billboard magazine, was not expected until the fall.[7] The song immediately turned up on several radio stations, including WXKS-FM (Kiss 108) in their home city of Boston, Massachusetts. It received 114 spins across two formats (CHR/Pop and Hot AC) in its first day.[8][9] A music video for "Summertime" was shot on May 9, 2008. [10]
The group had their first reunited performance at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, California on May 13, 2008. A video of the performance was released and stated that people who attended the performance are the "first to witness".
The group performed a medley of their hits and their new song "Summertime" live on Today on May 16, 2008. The performance attracted one of the biggest crowds, some 4,000 people, in the show's concert series history. [11][12] They also appeared on May 17 and 18 at two annual showcases put on by local radio stations in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut and Boston markets. (They shared the stage at both shows with The Jonas Brothers.) [13] [14]
On Sunday, June 15, 2008, the group performed live on the 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards, filmed on outdoor stages in downtown Toronto, ON.[15]
According to the band's web site, the reunion tour will kick off at Toronto's Air Canada Centre on September 18, 2008. [16] UK singer Natasha Bedingfield has recently signed on to become the opening act on the tour across the country.
